Description

Delightful truffles combining strawberry cake and white chocolate, perfect for parties and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup strawberry frosting
  • 12 cups white chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake according to package instructions. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  5. Add the strawberry frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
  6. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Freeze the truffles for about 30 minutes.
  8. While the truffles are freezing, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  9. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and place them back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle with decorations as desired.
  11. Let the truffles sit until the chocolate hardens, then serve or package in gift bags.

Notes

For extra flavor, add crushed freeze-dried strawberries to the cake mix or frosting. If the mixture is too sticky, refrigerate before rolling into balls. You can use different types of chocolate for dipping.
