Ingredients

- 2 lbs fresh strawberries (medium to large)
- 2 cups dark or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Rinse and gently pat dry the fresh strawberries.
- With a small, sharp knife, in a circular motion, carve out the stem of the strawberry.
- Slice the strawberry in half.
- At the top center of each berry half, cut a small V-shape.
- Gently insert a wooden stick at the bottom of the heart shape.
- Heat the chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 seconds. Repeat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate. Let them dry on parchment paper until the chocolate firms.
Notes
Serve these strawberries on a beautiful plate or dessert table. Customization options include whipped cream or sprinkles.
