- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup strawberry puree
- Pink food coloring (optional)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- Pink sanding sugar (optional)
- Heart-shaped decorations (optional)
Instructions
- Beat the cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and mix well.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
- Divide the mixture in half; add the strawberry puree to one half to create a strawberry cream.
- Crumble the vanilla cake layer into small pieces.
- In dessert cups, layer the crumbled cake, strawberry cream, sliced strawberries, and vanilla cream. Repeat the layers as desired.
- Pipe a swirl of strawberry cream on top of each cup for a nice finish.
- Optionally, sprinkle pink sanding sugar or add heart-shaped decorations for extra flair.
- Chill the dessert cups before serving for best flavor.
