Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and bell peppers. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, cooked rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
