Smoky, juicy Turkish grilled chicken wings marinated in yogurt, garlic, lemon, and Mediterranean spices—crispy on the outside, tender inside. A perfect dish for BBQ or cozy family dinners.
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
3 tbsp plain yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 tsp paprika (sweet or smoked)
1 tsp ground cumin
3 garlic cloves, grated
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, tomato paste, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.

2. Add chicken wings, mix well, and cover. Marinate in the fridge for 4–24 hours.
3. Preheat a charcoal or gas grill to medium-high. Lightly oil the grates.
4. Remove excess marinade and grill wings for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and slightly charred.

5. Rest wings for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with bulgur pilaf or Turkish salad.

Notes
Marinate overnight for best flavor.
Can be baked at 425°F (220°C) for 25–30 minutes if no grill.
Pairs well with Turkish yogurt dip (cacik) and shepherd salad.
