Description
Turkish Mosaic Cake is a rich, no-bake Turkish dessert made with cocoa, biscuits, and butter. It’s nostalgic, simple, and perfect for all occasions.
Ingredients
1 cup milk
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsalted butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp cocoa powder
400g plain biscuits (Marie or digestive)
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, whisk milk, sugar, butter, egg, vanilla, and cocoa.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 10 minutes).
3. Break biscuits into small chunks (not crumbs).
4. Pour chocolate mixture over the biscuits and stir to coat well.
5. Transfer onto parchment paper and shape into a log or triangle.
6. Wrap tightly in paper and plastic wrap.
7. Chill for at least 3 hours or overnight.
8. Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
You can omit the egg for a vegan version.
Try adding crushed pistachios or hazelnuts.
Best served cold with tea or coffee.
Can be frozen up to 3 months.
