Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter together.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour the batter into a heart-shaped cookie cutter to form pancakes.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- For Cupid’s arrow fruit kabobs, thread assorted fresh fruit onto skewers and shape them like arrows.
- Serve the pancakes with fruit kabobs for a fun Valentine’s Day breakfast.
Notes
Make sure the skillet is hot enough before you add the batter for even cooking. Use non-stick spray or butter in the cookie cutter to prevent sticking.
