- 4 large eggs

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
- Red food coloring (optional for festive color)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- For the frosting, whisk together the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add red food coloring if desired.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and cut into squares.
