Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries
- Milk chocolate, chopped
- White chocolate, chopped (optional)
- Sprinkles or nuts (for decoration)
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries: Start by gently rinsing the strawberries under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- Melt the chocolate: Place the chopped milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. If using white chocolate, melt it in a separate bowl.
- Dip the strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the berry. Let any excess chocolate drip off.
- Add decorations: Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle the dipped strawberries with sprinkles or nuts for extra crunch and color.
- Place on parchment: Set the decorated strawberries on a sheet of parchment paper. If using white chocolate, you can drizzle some over the milk chocolate for a nice effect.
- Let them cool: Place the strawberries in the fridge for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
