Description

Delicious and visually appealing cookies with vibrant M&M candies, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup M&M candies (preferably Valentine’s themed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the M&M candies.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them a few inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Make sure the butter is softened to room temperature for easier mixing. Avoid overbaking for a chewy texture. Experiment with different flavored M&Ms.
