Ingredients

  • 8 oz heart-shaped pasta
  • 4 oz salami, sliced
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the heart-shaped pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the salami, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, red onion, and black olives.
  3. Add the cooled pasta to the bowl.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to combine.
