- 8 oz heart-shaped pasta
- 4 oz salami, sliced
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the heart-shaped pasta according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the salami, mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, red onion, and black olives.
- Add the cooled pasta to the bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to combine.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
