Ingredients

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Olive oil
  • Tomato sauce
  • Cheese (mozzarella works best)
  • Toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended for your pizza dough.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil.
  4. Spread an even layer of tomato sauce over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce.
  6. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut some of your toppings into heart shapes.
  7. Arrange the heart-shaped toppings on the pizza.
  8. Add any additional toppings you like.
  9. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for the time specified on the dough packaging or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil or arugula before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flair, drizzle balsamic glaze on top before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
