Description

Delightful homemade ravioli filled with a creamy cheese mixture, served with marinara sauce – perfect for a romantic dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Ricotta cheese (for filling)
  • Parmesan cheese (for filling)
  • Salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  • Marinara sauce (for serving)
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add eggs and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough using a pasta machine to the desired thickness. Cut into squares.
  3. In another bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, salt, and pepper to taste. Place a spoonful of the filling onto the center of each square. Fold and seal the edges with a fork.
  4. Boil water in a large pot. Cook ravioli for about 3-4 minutes until they float to the top.
  5. Serve with marinara sauce and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

Knead the dough well for better texture. Don’t overfill the ravioli to prevent bursting. Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor.
