- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and cornstarch. Spread evenly in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cold butter and rub with your fingertips until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the topping is golden and the apples are bubbling and soft.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
