- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup white chocolate, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk. Beat on medium speed until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Stir in the melted white chocolate until evenly incorporated.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and smooth the tops.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form.
- Once the cakes are completely cooled, spread frosting between the layers and on top of the cake.

Notes
