Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Melt the white chocolate and let it cool slightly; then add it along with the buttermilk and vanilla extract to the batter.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth; add powdered sugar and lemon juice, mixing until well combined.
  7. Divide half of the cake batter into the prepared pans. Spoon the cheesecake batter in the center, then top with the remaining cake batter.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cakes to cool before removing them from the pans.
