🥣 Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

For Topping:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs
  • Pinch of paprika

🔪 Short Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook macaroni in salted water until al dente, drain, and transfer to dish.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, cook until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Cheddar and Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Pour cheese sauce over pasta, stir to coat.
