Description

Soft and easy pancakes made with yogurt and grated apple for extra moisture and sweetness.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 medium apple, grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the yogurt, grated apple, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour in the batter, cooking until bubbles form on the surface.
  5. Flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter, and adjust the consistency with milk if too thick.
