Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 medium apple, grated
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the yogurt, grated apple, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour in the batter, cooking until bubbles form on the surface.
- Flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Do not overmix the batter, and adjust the consistency with milk if too thick.
