Description

A flavorful seafood boil recipe featuring shrimp, crawfish, clams, and spices, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds Shrimp (Fresh or properly thawed for best taste)
  • 1 pound Crawfish (Substitute with tender crab if unavailable)
  • 1 pound Manila Clams (Substitute with other shellfish if desired)
  • 3 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning (Homemade or pre-made)
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter (Switch to olive oil for a lighter option)
  • 8 cups Water or Seafood Broth (Using broth enhances the flavor)
  • 4 ears Corn (Fresh or frozen works well)
  • 6 cloves Garlic (Freshly minced for best flavor)

Instructions

  1. Begin by bringing the water or seafood broth to a boil in a large pot.
  2. Once it’s boiling, add the corn and cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Next, add the Cajun seasoning and minced garlic, stirring well to combine the flavors.
  4. Bring the mixture back to a boil, then add the crawfish and clams.
  5. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the clams and crawfish are fully cooked.
  6. Finally, add the shrimp and butter, cooking until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Carefully drain the seafood mixture and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauces for enhanced flavors.
