- Pink buttercream frosting

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Pour the batter equally into the prepared pans.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool completely.
- Level the cakes and spread raspberry jam between the layers, then frost the top and sides with pink buttercream.
- Decorate to resemble a brain for a spooky Halloween touch.
Notes
For a more intense red color, add more food coloring. Ensure cakes are completely cooled before frosting.
