Description

A creamy, sweet lime drink from Brazil that refreshes on hot days with a rich flavor from sweetened condensed milk.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 limes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash the limes well.
  2. Cut each lime into wedges.
  3. Put the lime wedges, sugar, and cold water in a blender.
  4. Blend for about 30 seconds until the pieces are small.
  5. Pour the mix through a fine sieve into a pitcher to remove bits of peel.
  6. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  7. Add ice and serve!

Notes

Use fresh limes for the best taste. Do not freeze, as it will change the texture.
