Ingredients

- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups of sugar
- ½ cup of butter, softened
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into prepared cake pans and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
