A beautiful Buttercream Flower Cake that is perfect for special occasions with colorful flower decorations.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Food coloring (for the flowers)
- Buttercream frosting (for decorating)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour and baking powder in another bowl. Gradually add this to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Spread buttercream frosting on top of one layer, then place the second layer on top. Frost the top and sides of the cake.
- Pipe small flowers using colored buttercream all over the cake.
Notes
Customize flower colors to fit any theme. Store leftovers in airtight container for 4-5 days.
