Description

Deliciously chewy cookies combining the rich flavor of Oreos and the colorful fun of M&M’s, perfect for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 & 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
  • 7 Oreo cookies (roughly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
  2. Cream together the slightly softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a spatula.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract and egg, mixing until everything is smooth and well incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the Valentine’s Day M&M’s and chopped Oreo pieces.
  6. Scoop out the cookie dough to form 10 equal cookies using a large cookie scooper.
  7. Place the scoops on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes.
  8. Shape the cookies using a larger cookie cutter right after they come out of the oven.
  9. Let them cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
