- 1 ½ cups chocolate sandwich cookies (finely crushed)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
- ½ cup melted semi-sweet chocolate
- ¾ cup strawberry puree or strawberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Instructions
- Mix the crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter until well combined.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of dessert cups to form the crust.
- Beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well together.
- Whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Divide this mixture into two bowls.
- Stir the melted chocolate into one bowl until smooth.
- Spoon the chocolate cheesecake layer over the crust in each cup.
- Add the vanilla cheesecake layer on top of the chocolate layer.
- Drizzle the strawberry puree over the vanilla layer.
- Use a toothpick to gently swirl the layers for a marbled look.
- Repeat the layers if desired until the cups are full.
- Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes until set.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries or chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for the best consistency. Use quality chocolate for melting. Feel free to get creative with toppings.
