- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
- Cut the bread into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
- Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s well coated.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt butter or oil.
- Cook the coated bread pieces for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for coating.
- While still warm, roll the toast bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Use stale bread for better texture; it soaks up the egg mixture without falling apart. Experiment with different types of bread for unique flavors.
