  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (optional, for drizzle)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional, for drizzle)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (optional, for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
  3. Combine both mixtures and stir until just combined.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet, then swirl a teaspoon of the cinnamon sugar mixture into the batter.
  7. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden.
  8. Repeat with remaining batter.
  9. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth for a drizzle.
  10. Drizzle over pancakes before serving.

Notes

Do not overmix the batter. Use medium heat for even cooking, and warm the cream cheese slightly if very firm.
