- Water
- 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into uniform pieces.
- Place the cut potatoes in a pot and cover them with water.
- Add salt to the water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add butter and pepper to taste, and stir gently to combine.
Notes
Choose uniform-sized potatoes for even cooking. Adding salt to the water enhances the flavor.
