Description

Simple and satisfying classic boiled potatoes, perfect as a side dish or enjoyed on their own.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • Water
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into uniform pieces.
  2. Place the cut potatoes in a pot and cover them with water.
  3. Add salt to the water.
  4. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  7. Add butter and pepper to taste, and stir gently to combine.

Notes

Choose uniform-sized potatoes for even cooking. Adding salt to the water enhances the flavor.
