- 2 cups frozen hashbrowns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced cooked ham or sausage
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the frozen hashbrowns, diced cooked ham or sausage, onion, and half of the cheddar cheese in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in another bowl.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hashbrown mixture and stir until well incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crispier top, increase the baking time. You can also add vegetables or use different types of cheese.
