Description

Delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
