Description

Deliciously soft, chewy cookies packed with sweet white chocolate chips, perfect for sharing or enjoying solo.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this mixture aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs to the butter and sugar mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped nuts if using.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For chewier cookies, chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking.
