Description

A refreshing and creamy drink combining bright lime flavor with sweetened condensed milk.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 small limes, washed and quartered (keep the peel)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (about 1 small can, 14 oz)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Cut each lime into quarters. Remove any seeds you see.
  2. Put half the limes (3) in a blender with 2 cups cold water and half the sugar.
  3. Pulse the blender 3 to 4 short times. Do not blend until smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture into a pitcher to remove pulp and peel pieces.
  5. Repeat steps 2–4 with the remaining limes, 2 cups water, and remaining sugar.
  6. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  7. Add ice to the pitcher or to individual glasses.
  8. Serve cold. Taste and add a little more sugar or condensed milk if you want it sweeter.

Notes

For best flavor, serve immediately after mixing. Store in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
