Description

A delicious and easy dish that combines shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes in a flavorful broth, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into halves
  • 1 pound shrimp sausage, sliced
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the water, Cajun seasoning, and lemon slices in a slow cooker.
  2. Add the potatoes and cook on high for 180 minutes.
  3. Stir in the sausage and corn, cooking for an additional 60 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for another 30 minutes until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp; they cook very quickly. Adjust the spices to your taste and feel free to add more vegetables for extra flavor.
