Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cheese, almond flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Spray the waffle maker with non-stick spray.
- Pour the chaffle batter into the waffle maker, close, and cook until golden brown and crispy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Carefully remove the chaffle fries and cut them into fry shapes.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Use finely shredded cheese and do not overfill the waffle maker. Let chaffles fully golden before removing for optimal crispiness. Dry on paper towels if oily.
