Description

These easy jalapeño poppers are a fun and delicious option for gatherings, especially on the Fourth of July! Spicy jalapeños are filled with creamy cheese and wrapped in crispy bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 10 jalapeños
  • 8 slices bacon
  • Tortilla chips
  • Guacamole

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare jalapeños by slicing them in half and removing the seeds.
  3. Fill each jalapeño half with cream cheese.
  4. Wrap each filled jalapeño with a slice of bacon.
  5. Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  6. Serve the jalapeño poppers with tortilla chips and guacamole on the side.

Notes

Choose firm jalapeños for better handling and cooking. For a milder option, remove all the seeds and membranes inside the jalapeños. Experiment with different cheeses for a unique flavor twist.
