Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter evenly into the two prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool completely.
- Layer the cakes with green frosting in between and around the sides once cooled.
- Decorate with fresh fruit, edible flowers, and a touch of edible glitter or fairy dust.
