Description

A quick and healthy twist on classic tuna melts, made in a chaffle maker for a crispy and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chaffle maker or waffle iron

Instructions

  1. Mix together the drained tuna, shredded cheese, eggs, almond flour, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Preheat your chaffle maker or waffle iron.
  3. Pour the mixture into the chaffle maker, cooking until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Carefully remove the chaffles and serve immediately, garnished with more cheese or your favorite toppings if desired.

Notes

Drain the tuna well to avoid a wet mix. Use full-fat cheese and mayo for better texture. Do not overfill the chaffle maker.
