- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies and mix them with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×9 inch pan.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture along with the lemon juice and lemon zest.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Don’t skip the chilling step for best results.
