Description

Enjoy delicious, customizable homemade pizza pockets that are perfect for snacks, lunches, or parties.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • Your choice of toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add water and olive oil, then knead until smooth.
  2. Roll the dough out and cut it into circles.
  3. Place a tablespoon of pizza sauce, cheese, and desired toppings on one half of each circle.
  4. Fold the dough over and crimp the edges to seal.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make sure not to overfill the pockets to prevent them from bursting while baking.
