Description

A refreshing and unique drink combining the rich flavors of hojicha tea and the sweetness of maple syrup, perfect for any time of day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 teaspoons Hojicha Powder
  • 60 ml filtered water at 80°C (175°F)
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 180 ml milk (oat milk recommended)

Instructions

  1. Add 2 teaspoons of Hojicha Powder into a katakuchi tea bowl.
  2. Pour 60 ml of filtered water at 80°C (175°F) into the katakuchi.
  3. Whisk the two ingredients together with a chasen until the Hojicha Powder is fully dispersed. Set aside.
  4. Add ½ cup of ice into a tall glass.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup into the glass.
  6. Pour 180 ml of your choice of milk into the glass.
  7. Slowly pour the whisked hojicha over the ice.
  8. Sip, stir, and enjoy your delicious Iced Maple Hojicha Latte.

Notes

Serve in a tall glass; garnish with a sprinkle of hojicha powder or drizzle of maple syrup for extra flair.
