Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth in a separate bowl.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Blend in the dry ingredients gradually. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before frosting, if desired. Serve with a glass of milk.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature butter and eggs. You can add nuts for extra crunch.
