Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the ground meat, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, spices, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs.
  3. Heat some oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
