Ingredients

- 2 teaspoons dried hojicha leaves
- 2 cups water
- Sweetener of choice (optional)
- Milk (optional, for hojicha latte)
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the hojicha leaves.
- Let the leaves steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.
- Strain the tea into a cup using a fine mesh strainer.
- Add sweetener or milk if desired, and stir well.
Notes
Hojicha can be served hot or cold. Experiment with steeping times for different flavor strengths.
