Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- Mix together the flour, baking powder, and sugar in a bowl.
- Cream the softened butter in another bowl and add the peach puree and milk.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract last.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients gradually until smooth.
- If desired, mix in a few drops of blue food coloring to create a lovely hue.
- Pour the batter equally into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool before frosting.
Notes
