Description

A delightful dessert combining rich pound cake with sweet peaches, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Blend together flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
  6. Stir in the peaches, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until evenly mixed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  8. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of the batter.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Enjoy plain or with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. For best flavor, use fresh peaches.
