Description

A colorful and festive layered drink perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Red fruit juice (like cranberry or strawberry)
  • Blue sports drink or blue raspberry lemonade
  • Lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh fruit for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by filling a clear glass with ice cubes until it is about halfway full.
  2. Slowly pour in the red fruit juice until it fills the glass to the top. Be careful not to spill.
  3. Next, very gently pour the blue sports drink on top of the red juice without stirring. You can do this by pouring it over the back of a spoon to keep the layers separate.
  4. Finally, add the lemon-lime soda or sparkling water on top for some fizz.
  5. You can add fresh fruit on the top as a garnish for extra flair!

Notes

These drinks are best served fresh. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator but re-layer before serving again.
