Description

A delightful seafood boil featuring shrimp, corn, and smoked sausage, perfect for gatherings with family and friends.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ears corn, cut into thirds
  • 4 small potatoes, halved
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 cups seafood broth or water
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the seafood broth (or water), Old Bay seasoning, and potatoes. Bring to a boil.
  2. Cook for about 10 minutes, then add corn and sausage.
  3. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  5. In a separate pan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  6. Drizzle the garlic butter over the seafood boil.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges.

For best results, use fresh shrimp and feel free to customize with additional seafood or spices.
