Description

A fresh and vibrant fruit salad featuring a mix of seasonal fruits with a light lime-honey dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 1 cup pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup mango, diced
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into segments
  • 1 banana, sliced (add last)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • A few fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash all fruit well and drain.
  2. Cut fruit to similar bite-size pieces. Keep banana for last to avoid browning.
  3. In a large bowl, combine strawberries, blueberries, grapes, pineapple, mango, kiwi, and orange.
  4. In a small bowl, mix honey (or maple syrup) and lime juice until smooth.
  5. Pour the dressing over the fruit and toss gently to coat.
  6. Add banana slices and fold in carefully.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and serve, or chill for a short time.

Notes

Use ripe but firm fruit to ensure the pieces hold their shape and are easy to eat. Chill the fruits prior for a refreshing salad.
