Description
A delightful shrimp boil that combines shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn with Cajun garlic butter for a savory dish perfect for gatherings.

- 2 lbs (900g) Large Shrimp (Tail-on, deveined)
- 1 lb (450g) Smoked Andouille Sausage (Sliced diagonally)
- 1.5 lbs (680g) Red Bliss Potatoes (Small, halved)
- 4 ears Sweet Corn (Cut into mini-rounds)
- 1 cup (225g) Unsalted Butter (Melted for glaze)
- 1/2 cup (60g) Cajun Seasoning (Divided use)
- 1/4 cup (10g) Fresh Parsley (Chopped for garnish)
- 3 Lemons (Wedges for garnish and juice)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot with about 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add half of the Cajun seasoning.
- Add the halved potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Next, add the sliced sausage and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the corn and cook for about 3 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the pot and transfer the contents to a large serving platter.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the seafood and sprinkle with the remaining Cajun seasoning.
- Serve the lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.
Notes
Adjust the spice level using more or less Cajun seasoning as per taste. Feel free to add garlic or bay leaves for extra flavor.
