Description

A festive shrimp boil with fresh shrimp, juicy corn, and spicy sausage in a flavorful broth. Perfect for gatherings!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs (900g) large pink shrimp (raw, tail-on)
  • 1 lb (450g) andouille sausage (sliced into rounds)
  • 1.5 lbs (680g) red potatoes (halved)
  • 4 ears corn on the cob (cut into mini segments)
  • 1/2 cup (60g) Old Bay / Cajun Seasoning (divided)
  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup (10g) fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 lemons (halved and wedged)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and add half of the Old Bay seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add the halved potatoes and boil for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the sausage and corn, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the shrimp, cooking until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Drain the pot and transfer everything to a large serving platter or table covered with brown paper.

Notes

Serve hot with melted butter and lemon wedges on the side. Use hands to enjoy!
